It's a Beginning!

Ok, here I go. With encouragement from my husband and a few friends I'm going to try my hand at blogging. I've been reading blogs for about a year now and I'm hooked. I enjoy seeing/hearing/reading what creative people are thinking, doing, showing, and creating. Basically I guess one could say I'm nosey. But I also like to think I'm creative and I believe being around creativity breeds more creativity! ;-)

I have a small booth in a decor consignment and antiques store here in town called Consigning Interiors and I love it! I've always wanted my own shop that I would call Elizabeth Ann's. Well trying to pick the name and url for this blog I realized..I'm not the only Elizabeth Ann out there...imagine that! Hence..Elizabeth Ann's 2. The booth satisfies my shop owning desires but is MUCH easier!

Through this blog I hope to show some pictures of my booth, talk about my decorating, thrifting and "JUNKIN" adventures, as if I do anything adventurous! I like to pretend that I do though, does that count? Basically I want to have fun and tell who ever wants to read about it. I also hope to make some new friends in person and through the blog world. I know there are famous bloggers in my area, like Rhoda at Southern Hospitality, Layla at The Lettered Cottage, and Leigh at Tales from Bloggeritaville that I have been... well some might call stalking, but I like to call it admiring!

I am not a writer or a photographer and certainly not computer savvy, but if you can bear with me maybe I'll improve (one can hope right).

P.S.: I actually posted this on June 3, 2010. It took me from January to June to get up the nerve. Oh yeah! I'm adventurous alright!

  1. Well, Aint that something? Here I came to brag on your booth and I read further down and see my name there. What a compliment and hoot! I love when God throws in little surprises like that! I soooo appreciate the kindness and link love. You're a doll!

And I forgot to mention in my comment earlier...I just may have to go back for the ladder. It's got such character. I think it loves me too.

  2. ....And welcome! I have found that the bloggers in this genre are some of the best around. So helpful, kind, welcoming and really, it is a family. I feel blessed to be a part. Had anyone told me prior to 2007 (when I began TFB) that I would have a blog...well, Id probably ask them what a blog was!
